El Centro

El Centro de Interpretación del Vino y la Sal cuenta con un espacio dedicado a la SAL (tres salas) con información sobre las explotaciones salineras de Chiclana a lo largo de la historia y en la actualidad, además de fotografías, recursos audiovisuales y diversas piezas expositivas.

También contiene otro espacio sobre el VINO (cuatro salas) en el que se relata con paneles, aperos y fotografías el cultivo de la viña, así como la historia de las bodegas de Chiclana con distintos recursos audiovisuales. Además se muestra la crianza y envejecimiento del fino, el moscatel y otros vinos generosos de Chiclana, incluidos dentro de la D.O. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry.

Además, cuenta con una gran sala central para exposiciones temporales y usos múltiples –denominada El Mar– y una sala introductoria –El Sol–, además de una Sala-taller para las degustaciones y la Recepción, en la que también se encuentra la Tienda. Dispone de una amplia sala de reuniones en la entreplanta con vistas de todo el centro.

The Wine and Salt Interpretation Centre is an environment dedicated to salt (3 rooms) with information about Chiclana farms through the history and the present, using photographs, audiovisual tools and various exhibitions.

Inside, there are three large areas. The first, THE SEA, is a large central multi-purpos hall. The second, SALT (three sections), contains information on salt works in Chiclana from the periods of Phoenician and Roman colonization to the boom years in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In these areas, we learn about today’s artisanal salt works, located in Cadiz Bay Natural Park, and the extraordinary ecological Virgin Sea Salt and Flor de Sal they sell. There are also photograph, audiovisual resources, and various tools on display.

The third area, WINE (four sections), describes viticulture in Chiclana, which also began with the Phoenicians. In the 16th and 17th centuries, it became a thriving component of the economy as part of trade with the Americas. The panels, photographs, audiovisual resources, and tools tell the stoy of grape cultivation and the history of wineries in Chiclana, which are still artisanal family businesses. A description is given of the production and ageing of fortified wines: Fino, the wine that sustains local production even today, Moscatel and others, such as Cream. They are all made by wineries in Chiclana and included in the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Denomination of Origin.

We can also find a large central room for temporary exhibitions and multiple uses named "el Mar" (sea) and an introductory room "el Sol" (the Sun), and a workshop for tastings and buy

products from Chiclana, which is also the shop selling. We have a large meeting room upstairs with a view of all the museum of wine and salt and a lounge with a capacity of 100 people.

Qu’est-ce que l’on peut rencontrer ?

Le centre d’interpretation du vin et du sel est un environnement dédié aux sels (3 sels) avec des informations sur les exploitations de Chiclana à travers l’histoire et l’actualité, à l’aide de photographies, des outils audiovisuels et diverses expositions.

Le centre contient aussi un autre domaine, un autre environnement, celui du vin. Il est illustré par des tableaux, des outils et des photographies concernant la récolte du vin, aussi bien qu’avec l’histoire des caves de Chiclana comme différents recours audiovisuels. De plus, cela montre la levée et le vieillissement du bon vin, du Muscat, et d’autres vins généreux de la ville de Chiclana, incluant à l’intérieur de la D.O Jerez-Xérès-sherry.

On y trouve une grande salle centrale pour les expositions temporaires et de multiples usages nommés “el Mar” (la mer) et une salle d’introduction “el Sol” (le soleil), et un atelier pour les dégustations et les réceptions, dans laquelle se trouve aussi la boutique de vente. Nous disposons d’une grande salle de réunion à l’étage avec une vue sur tout le centre d’interprétation et d’un salon d’une capacité d’accueil de 100 personnes.
