KHOJALY GENOCIDE 26 february 1992

The Khojaly genocide -it is an assassination as a minimum of 613 people, mainly of the civil population, of Azerbaijani origin in the city of Khojaly. It was done by Armenian armed formations together with the military 366th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the former USSR.  Khojaly genocide called the largest and most brutal bloodshed of the First Karabakh War in 1992.  

During the Khojaly genocide, 613 people were killed; more than 1000 civilians of various ages became disabled. 106 women were killed, 63 young children, 70 old people, 8 families were completely destroyed, 25 children lost both parents, 130 - one of the parents. On the night of the tragedy, 1,275 civilians were taken prisoner, and the fate of 150 of them is still unknown. Today, the people holding high positions in Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, Zori Balayan, Serzh Sargsyan, as well as Robert Kocharian and other perpetrators of the genocide, must answer before an international court.
