Regional Museum of Travnik
Zavičajni muzej Travnik
Regional Museum Travnik was founded in 1950 and holds about 80 thousand exhibits, which makes it one of the most important museums in BiH.
Museum's permanent exhibitions are:
- Natural history collection
- Archaeological Lapidarium
- Cultural-historical collection
- Ethnographic exhibition
Museum of Travnik also has a Scientific library, Phototeque, Hemerotheque, Numismatic collection and Art collection.
The museum has its own publishing business, publishing historiography and beletristic literature.
Branch of the museum is the Memorial Museum Birth House of Ivo Andrić. Medieval fortress Stari grad is also under the patronage of the museum.
