Europe-wide unique underwater journey through the northern seas

OZEANEUM‘s giant sea water tanks will take you on an exceptional journey through the underwater world of the northern seas that is unique throughout Europe. Our various aquaria display marine habitats of the Baltic Sea, the North Sea and the North Atlantic. OZEANEUM hosts the largest Baltic Sea exhibition in Europe. Further exhibitions are devoted to the world‘s oceans and their exploration and utilisation. Children are invited to playfully explore and discover secrets and mysteries of the ocean on their own in our “Sea for Children” exhibition – “see, feel, experience, understand”. Witness a truly breathtaking encounter with life-size replicas of whales in the “1:1 Giants of the Seas” exhibition. The Humboldt penguins on the museum’s roof terrace are one of our main attractions.
