Milena Gregorčič, an academic painter, is recorded in contemporary art as a painter, graphic artist and designer, which is confirmed by numerous painting and graphic exhibitions as well as various designs, from integrated graphic images to 29 Slovenian postage stamps. She designed numerous publications, calendars, posters, planned event layouts, train paintings, building signage, appearance of work clothes, etc.
The indisputable guide in her creation is the search for effective compositional sets, varied spaces and extremely dynamic interweaving of painted elements. All this is based on Gregorčičeva's solid drawing and an endless system of lines. These two elements are the alpha and omega of each of her paintings. Her systems of uneven lines and the interweaving of various structures and artistic writings come to life in their fullness, while at the same time the homogeneity of all these painted details and the undulating image of the carrier that floats around the space come to light. It should be especially emphasized that the painter always divides the entire painting field into two parts either vertically or horizontally with a special dividing line.
