Songs of the Sea with the Hugill Brothers and Jez Danks
Phil & Martin Hugill bring us an evening of sea shanties, sailor songs and musical stories of the sea. Brought up in former seaport Aberdyfi, sea songs have formed a musical back drop to their lives, influenced by their father and 'foremost authority on shanties' Stan Hugill. Hear the work songs of the sea that would have spilled from the ships of Aberystwyth and beyond.
Jez Danks will bring the shanties to life through Ceredigion Museum's maritime collection.
