Muzej grada Zenice
City Museum of Zenica is a cultural institution which main activities are researching, preserving, collecting and processing museum material. Museum is located in a newly constructed building, which was designed specifically for the needs of the museum and has had its opening in September 2007. The new building was built thanks to the investment of Zenica municipality, and financial assistance from the Government of Zenica - Doboj Canton. The building has about 3000 square meters of exhibition space, which extends over three floors, space for business premises, depots, coffee/club for workshops and lapidary.
With the new museum, came a new concept of work: a so called "open museum" builds a dynamic relationship with the public, by organizing numerous workshops, developing a multimedia center, as well as frequent educational and promotional events from the field of science and art.
