Pale coloured plastic doll, known as Tressy - the first teenage fashion doll to be made by Leicestershire toy manufacturers, Palitoy.
By turning a key on the doll's back, Tressy's hair could be made to grow. Ideas on how to style the hair could be found in the Tressy hairstyle book, given free with each doll.
Palitoy also produced clothes for Tressy. This doll is wearing an outfit called "Shopping in Town". One of the original Tressy fashions, it consists of a tweed suit and several accessories.
Tressy was produced by Palitoy for over 15 years.
