Tin-plated doll's house with attached, flat roofed, garage. The house exterior is printed with white bricks on the ground floor and grey wooden tongue and groove cladding on the upper floor.
The interior is printed with wallpapers, floorings, furniture and accessories including gas fires in the upstairs rooms and an open fire in the living room. The garage and front doors open and the front of the house swings on hinges to give access to the inside.
This toy was made in Great Britain by Mettoy Company Ltd. in the 1950s. Mettoy was founded in Northampton in 1933 and produced large numbers of tin-plate toys until the 1960s.
