Description: Square section baluster jar and cover with wooden stand. Hard-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue. The square section vase has a short neck, rounded mouth lip, and rounded body that tapers to a straight foot with flat, recessed, glazed base. The domed square section cover has an angled, bud-shaped finial. The jar is painted on all sides with five-claw dragons, phoenixes and the eight precious emblems below a border of ruyi head lappets around the shoulders and scrolls on the neck. The cover is painted with the eight precious emblems and cloud scrolls.
