Description: At King George V's succession to King Edward VII in 1910, most of the service medals then on issue were renewed with a portrait of the new monarch by Richard Garbe, but with the current reverses and suspensions maintained. The Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal was no exception, as comparison with the previous issue will show.
