Wooden outer coffin of a man named Nakht-ankh, from the 'Tomb of the Two Brothers'. The coffin is rectangular, with a deep base and shallow, flat lid, and the surface is covered in high-quality paintings and inscriptions, in shades of blue, green, red, and yellow. The paintings depict elaborate doorways with 'doors' of reed matting. Near the head end, the doorway has two magical eyes, which allowed the deceased to 'see' from inside the coffin.
