Description: Seated figure of Shoulao (God of Longevity) with fawn, crane and tortoise on pedestal. Stoneware, moulded, cream glazed, painted in dark brown and dark tan. The figure sits with his legs crossed, his left arm placed on his left knee with a crane looking up at him. His right hand holds a scroll in his lap, with a fawn looking up at him. His head is slightly turned and he wears a tall `beehive' headdress and flowing gowns decorated in cream, tan and dark-brown. The tortoise rests at his feet.
