Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria

2018 is the centenary of the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria, one of Italy’s most important museums with an extraordinary collection of masterpieces by artists such as Beato Angelico, Piero della Francesca, Perugino and Pintoricchio. To celebrate this important milestone the gallery is planning two important exhibitions dedicated to the masterpieces of the Umbrian school from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance: Tutta l’Umbria una mostra and L’altra Galleria.
On the occasion of the centenary new communication tools have also been set up such as the gallery’s website and multimedia visit aids which will complement a series of events dedicated to promoting and enhancing the collection, such as photographic exhibitions, concerts and conferences.
