Poole Museum was reopened in 2007 following a major redevelopment. Displays range from archaeology to art, from pirates to potteries. Highlights include the Iron Age Poole logboat, the finest collection of Poole Pottery on public display, and a replica hide where you can view the birds of Poole Harbour.
With its stunning new entrance and atrium, Poole Museum's new public facilities include a visitor lounge and terrace with magnificent views over Poole Harbour and the Old Town.
Entry to Poole Museum is free and it is fully accessible to visitors with disabilities.
