Introduction about the Work

Hong Kong Photographer Lee Chi Chiu Julian’s photo work「To the Lighthouse」, which was one of the his series work of digital art canvas painting exhibition「Landscape in the Mist」at the French May Festival in 2005. And another piece of digital interactive photography work has been named same in 2005, an image of a dim lighthouse by the sea only lights up when the viewer walks near it. This work can no longer be seen now, leaving the blurred images on the website.

About Julian Lee

Julian, a former associate professor of Photography Art at the School of Creative Media, received a master’s degree in photography from the Royal Academy of Arts in 1991. He has also worked as a photographer and director of TVB and City Magazine and shot many works for Hong Kong stars. In 2014, 54-year-old Julian died for a cancer in London. The exhibit「To the Lighthouse」was shot during those years that he fought against the disease in London.
