As a world-famous cultural heritage, the Palace Museum shoulders the responsibilities of spreading the knowledge on historic preservation to the public.
The educational event “Cleaning Stones at the Palace Museum”, co-organized by the Publicity & Education Department and the Architectural Heritage Department, is part of the International Museum Day celebration activities. It targets at student groups, who will have chances to learn the basic knowledge on Chinese ancient architecture and help to clean the stones around the Hall of Supreme Harmony under experts’ instructions.
