Marie is a miniature fashion doll produced by Palitoy Ltd that first appeared in 1973. Marie was sold as one of Pippa's first friends. Like Pippa she has a moulded pale coloured plastic body with a twistable waist and pin joints in the hips and knees. This doll has brown nylon rooted hair and brown eyes.
The doll is in its original packaging and is wearing a white, orange and yellow long striped halter-necked dress and blue shoes. Marie stayed in production for four years but by 1977 was only available as a dancing doll.
