Collections of Regional Museum of History "Stoyu Shishkov" - Smolyan

Over the years the museum in Smolyan has accumulated rich and varied collections, totaling over 150 thousand units in the main, auxiliary and exchange collections.All these testify to the cultural and historical development of the population that inhabited the central part of the Rhodopes Mountains – supplying evidence of the ancient cultures and of the  unbroken over the ages inhabitance in the region, of the history, culture and way of life in different historical periods, showing their specificity and highest achievements.
