Government Museum and Art Gallery

The Government Museum and Art Gallery, Chandigarh is a premier museum of north India. It has one of the best collection of Gandhara sculptures and Pahari miniature paintings in the country. It has a sizable collection of coins, textiles, ancient and medieval sculptures, decorative art, modern and contemporary Indian art. The museum has been designed by the famous architect Le Corbusier and has been declared Grade I Zone II heritage structure.

The campus also has the Natural History Museum. It has four sections: Cyclorama of Evolution of Life, Nature in Art, Evolution of Man and Dinosaurs of India

International Dolls Museum: Located in Sector 23, it has a collection of around 250 costume dolls from from all over the world.

The National Gallery of Portraits in Sector 17, portrays the journey of India's freedom struggle from 1857 to 1947 through the medium of photographs and panels, besides related portraits, murals and dioramas.
