Frugone's Collections

The museum was set up in Nervi in 1993, in the 18th-century Villa Grimaldi Fassio, purchased by the Municipality of Genoa in 1979.

The Frugone Brothers’ important 19th-20th century art collections comprise paintings, sculptures and drawings by Italian and foreign artists who worked between the second half of the 19th century and the early 20th century.

Among these artists : Bistolfi, Fontanesi, Mancini, Messina, Segantini, Signorini, Boldini, Rubino, Milesi, Tito, Michetti and Sorolla y Bastida.
