This museum is the site of one of Britain’s oldest tinplate works. Original machinery and buildings are on show along with exhibits on coal mining, other industries and crafts.
Visitors can find out how tinplate for cans and cups were made, and learn the history of Carmarthenshire’s industries.
Near to the famous Kidwelly Castle and Pembrey Country Park, the museum is in a pleasant valley setting and is a great venue for a family day out.
