Mr George's Museum of Time

Watch and clock museum on Haltwhistle main street centred around the local children's stories of Mr George the clock man written by Diana Bell. The stories are based on a real character, George Ellis, Diana's father; a watch and clock repairer who lived and worked in Northumberland last century. The centre brings together the stories along with Diana's large collection of watches, clocks, tools and parts. The collection goes right through from early 19th century watches ad clocks right up until the late 20th century. Suitable for all ages wIth children's activities throughout.
