Picker Art Gallery

The Picker Art Gallery’s permanent collection includes more than 11,000 objects, among them, approximately 8,000 works of art on paper, 1,400 photographs, 900 paintings, and 400 sculptures, primarily from the 20th century.

Currently housed in the Paul Rudolph–designed Dana Arts Center on Colgate University’s campus in Hamilton, NY, the Picker Art Gallery is committed to the collection and exhibition of art that enriches the university, the town of Hamilton, and the central New York region.

The Picker Art Gallery at Colgate University is open Tuesday–Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon–5 p.m.; and the third Thursday of every month, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. The Picker is closed Mondays and major holidays.
Admission is free and open to the public. The Picker Art Gallery is located on the Colgate University campus, off Lally Lane, on the second floor of the Dana Arts Center. For more information, visit http://colgate.edu/picker or call 315-228-7634.
