Gilman Museum

Official Page of Lost River Caverns Nature's underground wonderland! The caverns are open year round except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's day. Tours run at frequent intervals between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily (9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Memorial Day to Labor Day.) We have extended shop hours until 8 p.m. on Fridays. Since the temperature of the Caverns is 52°F, a sweater or jacket is recommended (along with comfortable walking shoes). Photographs are not only permitted, but encouraged! We invite you to bring your camera along to document your experience. On site we have a Picnic Grove, the Gilman Museum (featuring unique minerals and a wide array antique weapons, amongst other exhibits), a fully stocked Souvenir Shop, and Gilman's Jewelry & Lapidary Equipment/Supply Store.
