Carmen’s Corner – Your curious one will delight in portraits of highways, landscapes, and still life works painted in bold expressive colors. The large-scale silk paintings will capture and enthrall your child’s imagination. The best family entertainment around! Science City – Your little scientist will appreciate the six interactive zones where he/she can, design structures with blocks, learn about the process of conductivity, discover with cars what makes things move faster or farther, experiment with a variety of materials to build things to sustain a drop, understand how tall structures maintain their height and stability, and play with wind to discover how the shape, weight, and balance of objects affect how high or fast they move. Children’s Masterpiece – We bring out your little one’s artistic side as they create their own masterpiece. They can take the artwork home or leave it at the museum for others to appreciate. Good Cents Bank – One of our newer exhibits cleverly engages your child on understanding how to manage and spend money. Hill Country Bubble Ranch – Children and adults alike will take great pleasure with the bubble exhibit, where they will explore the properties of bubbles by creating bubbles of all shapes and sizes. Including one large enough to stand inside. -FREE KIDS NIGHT! Every 3rd Thursday of the month 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.- San Antonio Children’s Museum offers 22 educational exhibits for you and your child to enjoy. For your tot’s safety, all children must be accompanied with an adult 18 years or older.
