Herman’s etiquette

Until the end of next year, the Children’s Museum Herman’s Den will host a new temporary exhibition Herman’s etiquette.

What is etiquette anyway? The word in French means “good tone” or “good impression” and encompasses the rules of decent behaviour in society.

In the exhibition we find the rules of good behaviour, which were commanded in the past and are still valid today. Some of them will definitely bring a smile to our faces, because today we can no longer even imagine them. Nevertheless, good behaviour does not mean that you are old-fashioned, but respectful and considerate of yourself and others, as well as the environment, nature and animals.

Through various interactive contents, the exhibition teaches us how to act in different situations to avoid embarrassment and awkwardness.
