The Curatorial Project

On the move, leaping into the unknown: tomorrow’s curators present themselves today. The Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, the museum of Zurich University of the Arts, is committed to educating the next generation of curators. At the university’s campus Toni-Areal, the museum is now building another bridge to teaching with an adventurous experimental project. By growing their ideas into finished concepts, MA Art Education students specializing in Curatorial Studies, i.e. prospective exhibition makers, developed their own exhibitions: The Letten District Goes Swimming, Questioning the City: Strolling through Text and Image, The Narrative Chair, Unlabel: Fashion beyond Categories, or What Is Food Design? A jury selected the most exciting exhibition concept for implementation.
