Northwest Coast Monumental Sculptures ("Totem Poles")
The centerpiece of the Museum's collection is the giant "Frog Constellation", carved by Haida artist James Hart. He is one of the most accomplished artists currently working in the Northwest Coast style. Other monumental sculptures also illstrate the varied artistic traditions of the First Nations of the BC Coast.
