The Museum of Childhood is showing a selection of its toy tea sets featuring designs from Willow Pattern to Walt Disney. Tea sets in all shapes and sizes made from pottery, tin and plastic are on display showing how the great British obsession with tea drinking has been a staple part of children’s games since the mid 19th century.
Adult sized tea wares from the Social History and Applied Art collections are featured too, setting the toys in their historical context
