Día de Muertos

Celebrate the Day of the Dead, a holiday observed throughout Mexico. Bring photos of your loved ones for our ofrenda (altar), make cempasúchil (marigold) paper flowers, and enjoy a special treat. Afterward, enjoy a special treat of pan de muerto bread, a traditional sweet roll served during this special time.

All families and friends are welcome.

Family programs are free with Museum admission and free for Members, geared to families with children ages 6–12 years old, and include a snack. Activities are designed for adults and children to complete together.

Free with Museum admission. Registration suggested, but not required.
