After the huge success of our Summer Club in 2018, Creswell Crags is excited to announce the return of our amazing activity days for children this February Half Term, with the arrival of Spring Club! With a different theme each day, we have the perfect activities for children aged 7 – 12. Details of what activities are running each day are detailed below.
Each day runs from 9am to 3pm, with an optional after-club club between 3pm – 4pm, where children will be supervised and provided with colouring activities, fruit and squash (extra £2 per day). Children must provide their own packed lunch.
Price per child is £18 per day, or a discounted price of £85 for all five days. However, pay in full for all five days now and receive an additional £5 discount!
To book a place, or make an enquiry, please ring us on 01909 720378. Each child’s place requires a non-refundable £15 deposit to secure the booking. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come first-serve basis, so please get in touch soon to avoid disappointment (please note that we are not able to take bookings via Facebook message or email; apologies for the inconvenience).

Details: Get stuck in to wide range of exciting hands-on crafts! From mosaic-making to tie-dye – be prepared to get messy on this day!

NATURE DAY
Club Leader: Lucy Bacon
Details: Explore the gorge and find out about our natural residents! Create giant eggs based on the eggs of birds we have here at the Crags, and have a go at making feeders to keep the birds going until spring!

ART DAY
Club Leader: Sarah Lee
Details: Be inspired by the only Ice Age Rock Art in the UK, and become a Stone Age artist! With stencil art, pottery painting and wall-decorating, this day is perfect for children with an artistic flare. Another messy one – please dress accordingly!

MUSIC DAY
Club Leader: Ian Blakesley
Details: Journey into a cave to create your own Stone Age music! Explore the animal noises that would have echoed around the gorge, and learn how to compose your own Ice Age symphony!

PALAEONTOLOGY DAY

Details: Get up close and personal with the bones of the ancient animals that lived at Creswell Crags! Discover fascinating facts about the huge range of skeletons in our collection, and have a go at creating your own exhibition!
