Handel House Christmas Showcase

Musicians from our Handel House Talent scheme will celebrate their year with us by performing the very best early & Baroque music both as soloists and ensembles. The programme will include some of Handel's greatest music such as pieces from his sacred Oratorio Messiah, his operas Alcina & Il Pastor Fido, as well as pieces by Henry Purcell and a selection of other Baroque composers.  There will also be a world-premiere of a new piece composed by our Composer-in-Residence Alex Groves inspired by the year working inside Handel's House at 25 Brook Street. Performances will be punctuated with festive carols for all the audience to sing along to.
