BRUNEL: BUILDING THE IMPOSSIBLE Daily, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm Included in the price of admission Discover more about engineering in our amazing summer science show. Hosted by Mr. Brunel himself, the performance will be filled with fascinating facts and daring demonstrations, celebrating 2018’s Year of Engineering. Apprentices young and old, will be inspired by the SS Great Britain and the extraordinary man who made her. Performances will run three times a day, every day and last 20-30 minutes. EXPLORE THE LIFE OF ONE OF ENGINEERING'S GREATEST MINDS Daily, 10am - 6pm Included in the price of admission New for 2018, Being Brunel celebrates the life and legacy of Britain’s hero engineer. Discover never-before-seen personal possessions, then get inside Brunel’s mind and experience life through his own eyes in an immersive audio-visual experience. HEAR FASCINATING STORIES FROM CURATORS Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and the first two Saturdays of every month, 12.30pm - 1.30pm Free drop-in sessions The Brunel Institute will be open for families to get up close to objects from the collection and hear their incredible history from the curators in Archive in Five. CLIMB THE RIGGING Daily, 12pm - 5pm Free for under 18s, £10 for over 18s Scale the rigging 30 metres above the Dry Dock floor with Go Aloft!, and then walk out onto the main yard for a unique and breathtaking view of Bristol, now free for under 18s!
