Fabulous fossils goes close up!

A rare chance to see fascinating fossils and beautiful crystals close up under the microscope. You can even explore what is under your own fingernails! Also, dinosaur and ice age mask-making, a fossil dig where you can find and keep a fossil, and lots of Oxfordshire fossils to see and handle. You are welcome to bring along your fossil or mineral finds for an expert opnion. Event presented by the Oxfordshire Geology Trust in association with the Royal Microscopial Society. Family friendly but all welcome. Drop-in any time between 11am – 1pm, and 2pm – 4pm.

Admission
Fossil handling and identifications free. Mask making and fossil dig £3.50 per child. Tickets available from the Museum Shop 10 minutes before the event starts. Please note that drop-in activities can be very popular. If very busy on the day, we will restrict tickets to timed entry slots. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by, and remain with, an adult at all times.
