This is a reconstructed Neolithic bag-shaped pot from the site of Hembury in Devon. Pottery was a new invention in the Neolithic, and enabled the farming communities to store and cook food. The pot was probably made to look like baskets that would have b - Neolithic (4000-2200 BC) -
