Plaque

Oval plaque, sides moulded with scrolls and angles and shell ornament, the top surmounted by a large shell. In the centre panel, a scene depicting bull baiting, edged with a thin band of yellow which in turn is surrounded by chrysanthemum heads and other flowers heads and foliage and scrollwork in various colours against a blue ground, and extreme edge with a band of green. The shell decoration is picked out in yellow, yellow ochre and black. Size: Height: 23 cm. X.4374
