The tea caddies are of rectangular form with the sides moulded in scrolls and scrollwork. The cover similarly moulded and surmounted by a flower knop. Each has on either side a projecting pram-like handle moulded with scrollwork decoration heightened in gold. On each side of each caddy the scrollwork forms a panel upon which is painted in puce enamel a scene of figures in a landscape. The edge of the covers and the caddies are gilded.
