Group of a Dancing Couple, Derby, 1830-35 This is a 19th century version of an 18th century model. Originally, this would have been one of a pair of groups after a Meissen group of c.1764 by J.J. Käendler. Mark: Crossed swords in underglaze blue, incised -N 16”; another incised mark (under label). Provenance: Lady Ludlow Collection (gift of the National Art Collections Fund) Size: Height: 17 cm.
