Mill used in the mines to show light by means of a shower of sparks from a flint. Framework in heavy brass. A metal handle turns a brass cog wheel, 12 cms diameter, which drives another gear, 3 cms diameter. This turns a steel wheel, 10 cms in diameter, against which the flint is held.
