'The Gilston Cigar': Gilston Humidifier T-Piece

One child and one adult Gilston Humidifier T-Piece, or, 'The Gilston Cigar'. Used for weaning people off mechanical ventilation. Provides optimal delivery of oxygen-enriched and humidified gas through an endotracheal or tracheostomy tube. Does not increase resistance to breathing and also prevents accidental inhalation of vomit through external orifice of the tracheal tube, lightweight, easily cleaned and sterilised after use. Made 1969.
