White enamelled Maltese cross of gold, bullets on the tips, between the cross arms walking, forward facing lion of gold. Slightly vaulted medallion of gold, then relief portrait of Duke Ernst the Pious, Neck Image, Profile left, in the direction of blue enamelled ring with gold text: “FIDELITER ET CONSTANTER.” Ultimately a wreath of silver covered with green transparent enamel, wrapped in six places with intersecting bands of gold. Between the top cross arm’s tips two bands of gold, therein attached royal crown of gold, through the apple pulled a ribbon ring of gold.
