necklace; string of alternating brass and blackened brass...
necklace; string of alternating brass and blackened brass beads. The beads have been embossed with flower and ?butterfly designs.
none MANU unknown The beads making up this necklace appear to have been created by stamping very thin sheet brass in a mould and then fusing two halves together to form the 'bean shape'. This gives the beads their intricate detail and light weight. The blackened beads have been painted with a black metal stain to enhance the butterfly design. Two of these black beads have a floral design which differs from all the other beads.
