A set of Jacques Original Snap cards in their original orange and white cardboard box. The box contains a reproduction set of Victorian picture cards, which show caricatures of male characters, such as a doctor and a policeman.
The cards are used to play Snap. Each player takes their turn to lay a card down and if it has the same picture as the one underneath, they shout "Snap" and collect all the cards in the pile. The winner is the first player to collect all the cards.
John Jacques and Son of London produced the first pack of cards designed specifically to play Snap in 1866.
