The Scorpion Tank is from a range of Action Man vehicles created between 1970 - 1977. It was based on an actual fighting vehicle used by the British Army.
The tank is made from green moulded plastic with realistic black moving tracks, revolving turret and real hatch openings to hold two Action Man figures. It would have been supplied with two red and blue pennants, a variety of stickers and an instruction sheet explaining how to decorate the enclosed accessories. A Tank Commander outfit was available to purchase as part of this range of toys.
