Pale coloured vinyl 'teen' doll with pale blonde rooted hair and painted features. Wearing a white nylon ballet tutu and ballet slippers. Complete with original triangular box, hair styling booklet and stand. The box shows some of the fashions that could be purchased separately for the doll.
Toots, like her big sister Tressy, (X.O4. 2002.2.0) had hair that 'grew' on the turn of a key but unlike Tressy had flexible limbs so she could 'dance'. The dolls originally cost 27 shillings and 6 pence, the equivalent of �1.37p today, and were made by Palitoy Ltd.
