For the last 30 years, Ralph Lauren has produced collections of glamorous, wearable clothes which are often inspired by the "American Tradition", Hollywood, the English Country House of the 1930s and 1940s and his own signature style. Lauren is perhaps most famous for his sportswear and leisure clothing and his "Polo" player logo is recognised all over the world.
This evening suit combines elegant, but simple styling with luxury fabrics and attention to detail. The jacket is made of slubbed silk and is also lined with silk. It fastens with a concealed zip down the centre front. The trousers are covered with iridescent sequins and are lined with silk chiffon. A sample label in the jacket pocket refers to the jacket as the "Hutton" jacket.
