This corset is one of earliest designs from the Avro range, first developed in 1923. Avro was the first truly branded collection to be produced by Symington. Based on a design from 1900, this model of corset continued to be produced until 1935.
The corset is made from grey coutil and features a straight double busk and spiral boning. On each side of the corset are two small, decorative square sections, which reveal the spiral boning.
