Description: Lobed jar. Hard-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue. The jar has a wide mouth, the rounded sides taper into a low foot with flat, recessed base. The shoulders are decorated with four panels enclosing flower heads reserved on a background of swastika design. The lobed body is decorated with two magpies (?) perched among peony, chrysanthemum and bamboo, above two underglaze blue lines which encircle the foot.
