Description: Cream-coloured earthenware painted overglaze in green, yellow, red, pink, lilac, and black enamels. Globular with a curved, leaf-wrapped spout with behind it in the body, a central hole and five round it, and handle in the shape of three leaves with a kick at the end of each, more pronounced on the lowest leaf. Circular, close-fitting slightly domed cover (A)with a replacement capstan-shaped knob. The body and cover are decorated on each side with a chintz pattern comprising a central narrow vertical stripe of chevrons flanked by wide plain stripes with scalloped edges, and wide stripes of zig-zag pattern. The spout and handle are unevenly coloured pink, and the knob pale grey.
